Who| Dandy Mott & OPEN
What| Catch-all log for Dandy's arrival in the arena.
Where| All around the arena.
When| Week 1
Warnings/Notes| None yet. Will add if needed.
[1 - Spaceport Inside]
[Arriving in the Capitol was shocking enough for Dandy, but this arena was really something else. The technology was beyond everything he'd ever seen, and he really believed that he was somewhere in outer space. He knew that he ought to be more cautioned and frightened than he actually was, but he was just so amazed by it all that he walked around in a near daze like a kid at an amusement park, looking out all the windows with a big grin on his face.
He had nothing to speak of as far as weapons went. He saw the cornucopia, and he noticed signs of some sort of struggle having gone on there, but whatever it was about he was too late for it. Too late for a lot of things, really. How unfair. He hadn't run into anyone else yet; the starting areas seemed fairly deserted. He didn't think for a second that he was put here alone, but he was still calm about it. He was picturing his opponents as typical dainty horror movie victims and himself as the all-powerful killer; in his opinion he was still the hunter, not the hunted.
How long that would hold up once he actually met someone, he didn't know.]
[2 - Science Labs]
[The laser puzzle wasn't too difficult for him. Just a bunch of mirrors to bounce the lasers off of. But, even though he had solved the puzzle, he still wasn't leaving. Having tried (and failed) to wrench one of the laser guns off of its platform, he simply waved it around like he was in a war plane shooting imaginary targets. He'd have to buy himself a laser after this was all over.
In he other hand he was clutching the corpse of a little green man by the arm. He didn't have any blood on him, so it was most likely someone else's kill, but he dragged it around with him anyways.]

[He steps closer.]
I'm the only god here. Scram.

[She stands firm, refuses to yield.]
If you want this slop, come take it. Or ask nicely. Those are your options, sir.
no subject
Please, I've barely eaten since I got here, I'm not used to all this scrounging and scavenging.
[Because he didn't have a weapon yet, and while he figured he could take her with his bare hands, why do all that work when whining usually got him what he wanted anyways?]
no subject
See, now? Was that really worth all this fuss?
[She then tosses one of the baggies to him, aiming squarely for his chest.]
Happy now?
no subject
God, why don't they just feed us gruel? I'd perform much better with some steak and caviar.
[Don't wait for a thank you, it isn't coming.]
no subject
They want for us to suffer. It's more entertaining to them if we are miserable and desperate.
no subject
[He stops eating for a second tilting his head to the side.]
I'm not suffering. The food is terrible, yes, but I'm going to be a star.
no subject
[ Okay, no it isn't. But enough people say it that Fee doesn't put much faith in the words. ]
What makes you say that?

[ She shrugs. ]
Or maybe they just wanted to watch you die.
no subject
[Implying that some of the people here are.]
I was brought here to win.

[ She knows she'd like it. ]

No, I'd say I'm rather spot on. Try not to die straight away, little oaf.

[How rude!!]
