Who| Dandy Mott & OPEN
What| Catch-all log for Dandy's arrival in the arena.
Where| All around the arena.
When| Week 1
Warnings/Notes| None yet. Will add if needed.
[1 - Spaceport Inside]
[Arriving in the Capitol was shocking enough for Dandy, but this arena was really something else. The technology was beyond everything he'd ever seen, and he really believed that he was somewhere in outer space. He knew that he ought to be more cautioned and frightened than he actually was, but he was just so amazed by it all that he walked around in a near daze like a kid at an amusement park, looking out all the windows with a big grin on his face.
He had nothing to speak of as far as weapons went. He saw the cornucopia, and he noticed signs of some sort of struggle having gone on there, but whatever it was about he was too late for it. Too late for a lot of things, really. How unfair. He hadn't run into anyone else yet; the starting areas seemed fairly deserted. He didn't think for a second that he was put here alone, but he was still calm about it. He was picturing his opponents as typical dainty horror movie victims and himself as the all-powerful killer; in his opinion he was still the hunter, not the hunted.
How long that would hold up once he actually met someone, he didn't know.]
[2 - Science Labs]
[The laser puzzle wasn't too difficult for him. Just a bunch of mirrors to bounce the lasers off of. But, even though he had solved the puzzle, he still wasn't leaving. Having tried (and failed) to wrench one of the laser guns off of its platform, he simply waved it around like he was in a war plane shooting imaginary targets. He'd have to buy himself a laser after this was all over.
In he other hand he was clutching the corpse of a little green man by the arm. He didn't have any blood on him, so it was most likely someone else's kill, but he dragged it around with him anyways.]

1;
She'd done a decent enough job of going undetected, or so she thought, when she happened upon a small cache of dehydrated meats. Peeking up to check that the coast was clear, she took a moment to pick through the offerings to find something semi-palatable.]

[Dandy hadn't actually been to this area of the station before. He only came when he thought he heard someone walking around and rifling through something.
He'd pretend he had claim to them anyways. He was hungry and not very good at getting food on his own.]
no subject
Are they? How odd. I don't see anyone's name written on them.
[She holds up one of the packets, to illustrate. See, Dandy? See?]
no subject
If I wrote my name on everything I owned it would take years. Give it to me.

[She dangles it before him, testing to see if he'll come at her.]
Where are your manners, sir? You could start with a simple please.
no subject
[He's pretty used to the 'gimmie' tactic succeeding.]
no subject
[She looks him up and down, not dismissing him entirely, but calculating her ability to take him out. She's a slayer of demons. How much trouble can one measly man be? I mean, really.]
Don't just stand there. Do something daring.

[He stomps his foot down like a kid throwing a tantrum.]
I don't have any reservations about taking it by force just because you're a girl, if you wanna do things the hard way, you know.
no subject
I'm not a girl. I'm a goddess. And you're an insect. Now off with you.
[Dismissively, she shoos him.]

Hope prose is okay!
It's also to check and see if they're on the list of people she might just go ahead and kill.
She's in a skintight purple suit, with her helmet hanging around her waist like a bobbly fannypack. She meets Dandy's eyes and her brow quirks up in the middle at the smile.
"Oh. Hi."
no subject
He looks around as if he's trying to figure out how she did that, and seems to be getting a bit frustrated that he sees nothing but air.
"What was that?"
no subject
She straightens up, running a knuckle over the massive scar on her face absentmindedly.
"And since I got magic and you don't, that means I get to ask questions. Who're you?"
no subject
He was kind of ignoring the part where she got to ask the questions, but she wasn't the first one with powers he had seen and he really wanted to learn how to do some of this stuff.

As such, he isn't particularly hostile when faced with an unarmed stranger. He's almost too pleasant for someone in a murder match, because he greets Dandy with a nod and a very faint smile. To be fair, it's hard not to smile at someone grinning so sincerely.]
You look to be enjoying yourself. [He observes with a slight incline of his head.] You must be brave, then.
no subject
[Although Thor was a more formidable looking opponent than he was expecting, he tried not to show any hesitation.]
It's hard not to enjoy yourself here.
[It's SPACE and that is so great to someone who predates the moon landing.]
no subject
You've not been here long, then? [He asks that conversationally, without condescension.] There's something familiar about it, I suppose. [He says that like everyone grew up in and around space.]
no subject
[He stares out the window. What could be familiar about this?] This is the opposite of everything I'm familiar with, that's why I like it so much.

[He's still getting used to this multiple worlds business.]
Are you from space? Like in the movies?
