This Ghoul in particular is a little more robust than a normal Ghoul might be, as though it's trying to make up for there being only one of it.

The Ghoul is staggered by the blow, but not quite defeated. It's making a swing with its giant syringe sword, and if it can't attack Haruto, it'll go for Nitou because it's a jerk like that.
