Elsa stops immediately when his foot lands on her leg, because she knows it's over. Trying to crawl away is just going to end badly. So she flattens herself against the ground and tries as hard as she can't not to shake violently. Maybe it's silly, but the scariest thing about this is his way of speaking. The way he alternates between normal and yelling is so unnerving, she has a hard time not flinching every time he raises his voice.

And then he's giving her a choice on how to die, and it's the single sickest situation she's ever found herself in, because she doesn't want to die, so how can she choose?

"Please... please, is there any w-way I can convince you to let me go?" she asks, lifting her head a little so that she isn't completely pressed to the ground and he can actually hear her. "I haven't d-done anything to you..."
